We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Bilingual Senior Social Media Strategist passionate about crafting engaging and innovative content. Your role will involve harnessing your creativity to curate compelling social media content and leveraging your strategic prowess to develop and implement effective social media strategies and shoots that elevate brand potential on different platforms.

The Senior Social Media Strategist has the following roles and accountabilities:

  • Tailor social media strategies and campaigns to meet specific client expectations and brand guidelines, ensuring client satisfaction and achieving brand goals.
  • Create Monthly Content Calendars and Stories to maintain a consistent and engaging brand presence across social media platforms.
  • Conduct thorough research to identify trends, audience preferences, and emerging platforms to enhance the brand’s social media presence.
  • Craft engaging and original social media content, incorporating multimedia elements and ensuring a consistent brand voice and style.
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee content creation to optimize engagement and resonate with the target audience.
  • Utilize Meta Ads Manager to strategically amplify campaigns, optimize post-performance, and reach the intended audience effectively.
  • Generate insightful reports showcasing social media performance, analyze key metrics, and derive actionable insights to refine strategies and demonstrate progress toward objectives.
  • Work closely with graphic designers, photographers, and videographers to plan and execute compelling content creation.
  • Coordinate and lead the planning and production of content shoots for social media, overseeing every stage from conceptualization to execution.
  • Monitor and ensure the timely completion of daily tasks by team members while maintaining records of task performance and addressing any arising issues.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to the Social Media Interns.

The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in social media management, including calendar creation and report generation.
  • Demonstrate exceptional creativity in developing engaging social media content and strategies, from research to execution.
  • Expert-level proficiency in community management skills, with a strong focus on channels like Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Experience working in digital marketing agencies, understanding the industry dynamics.
  • Strong affinity with audiovisual media and a solid understanding of platforms like TikTok and Instagram Reels.
  • Quick adaptability to new technologies, platforms, and changes in the social media landscape to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Planning and organizational skills to coordinate photography and video shoots effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive mindset, always seeking solutions and opportunities.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring high-quality and accurate work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, understand their requirements and maintain a strong working relationship to meet and exceed expectations.
  • Professional proficiency in English (written and verbal) and Spanish (optional).
  • Knowledge in amplification management using Meta Ads Manager.
  • Previous experience in social media management specific to the restaurant industry, understanding the nuances and strategies relevant to this sector.
  • Experience in mentoring, showcasing the ability to guide and develop junior team members.
  • Experience in planning and executing social media strategies for events, product launches, or campaigns to generate buzz and engagement.
  • Enthusiasm and drive to proactively stay updated on the evolving digital marketing landscape, emerging trends, and best practices.
  • Located in Colombia.
